Celtic Deaf Festival

Celtic Deaf Festival is an event that’s happens every year in the weekend after the August bank holiday. Festival was founded by Fiona Morgan, Bill Davies, and Elin Williams.

 

The Festival is a 'not for profit' festival. It is exclusively for the Deaf community and those who communicate in BSL and their friends and families. It's a cultural celebration of Deaf culture and Deaf Language and the enjoyment of music (deep base).

 

A weekend of camping and enjoying Deaf performers, outdoor activities, entertainment, social opportunities, small business opportunities for stall holders, safe space to enjoy Deaf Rave, Sign singers and more. Celtic Deaf festival was first founded in 2017 and was growing in numbers.

 

COVID happened. We returned in 2022 and wow over 200 attended! We took a break last year. 2024!!! We're back!!!! Hope to see you on 30 Aug - 1 Sept!
